You can help with the Annual Auction!

Save the Date – Mooresville Christian Academy Auction, March 13th, 2010

  • Mark your calendar! Our annual MCA Auction will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Our school and students benefit greatly from the funds we raise; 100% of auction proceeds support the school. Donations from the community, parents, and staff make up the auction items. All proceeds go directly to the Mooresville Christian Academy. Below is a listing of ways YOU can help make our auction a success!

Ways to Help:

    The auction committee is busy making plans for the auction.  The Administration Team needs your help on March 13.

    • 2 adults and 2 Jr. High students to help at the registration tables from
      4:30 - 6:30
    • 3 adults for silent auction processing from 6:30 - 7:30
    • 2 adults for check-out processing from 6:30 - 8:00
    • 2 adults for check-out processing from 8:00 - 9:30
    • 3 Jr. High students willing to help the where needed from 6:00 - 9:30

Volunteer: There is a lot of work to be done prior to and the night of the auction! 

    • Volunteer’s needed to serve on the 4 auction committee’s - No previous experience is necessary!  Contact: PTF

Donations: Solicit donations of goods/services!

    We ask each family at Mooresville Christian Academy to try to secure one item for our auction (silent/live). The item does not have to come directly from you; it can come from a local restaurant you frequent, your hairstylist or from a friend or co-worker who owns a business.  Items can be gift certificates or actual items from the place of business. All donors will be listed in the auction program.  Attached you will find a donation form to help you get started supporting your school.  Extra forms can be found in the school office or by contacting the PTF officers.

If you have any connections for any of these items, please contact your friendly PTF officers…

  • Trips, getaways, condos, timeshares, excursions – any connections to a fabulous place?
  • Airfare… always needed! Can you part with 25,000 frequent flyer miles?
  • Put together a party: couples, cooking class, gourmet dinner party
  • Celebrity Dinner (Who do you know?)
  • Package an event to the Pacer Basketball, Colts Football, Indianapolis Motor Speedway,  
  • Bling, Bling… got a jewelry connection?
  • Can you provide a “once in lifetime” experience? Do a spot on TV, fly a flight simulator, or  drive a racecar
  • Arts Festival, etc, Performing Arts Theatres, Children Museum, and Zoo tickets
  • How much is that Doggie? Do you know a Vet that is willing to give a gift of a pet’s yearly  vaccinations?
  • Massage
  • Major league football, basketball, baseball, hockey tickets
  • Concert tickets/backstage passes, theatre tickets, autographed entertainment memorabilia
  • Pizza!  Pizza parlor, “weekly pizza for one year”.
  • Barber, “hair cut for a year” 
  • Maybe you or your place of work would like be a sponsor!
