The Mooresville Christian Academy school board is a self-perpetuating board composed of no more than 7 members. Four board offices are elected which combine to make up the Executive committee.
The board is given the responsibility for the establishment, guidance, and Spiritual leadership in the operation of the school. The board is the policy setting body of MCA, with the administrator having responsibility for the implementation of the Board policies. The board is responsible for employing competent personnel whom they will hold accountable to affect the policies of the school. Approval of the annual budget and any non-budgetary expenses are also the responsibility of the board. Evidences are the board minutes, board agenda, school budget, board policy manual, student handbook, and the school by-laws.
