The students in junior high have P.E. daily. The junior high students change into P.E. clothes on a daily basis. They are graded on participation, attitude, effort, sportsmanship, and skills tests. The students will also have quizzes, tests, special reports (Winter Olympics), team teaching, and other assignments. In this class the student will learn many of the more popular sports as well as some of the special sports (Cricket). It is important to expose students to a variety of physical activities during this time so they can find things that they like to do which will help them remain physically fit. The students are taught the basics about exercise and nutrition. The students are also taught how to be competitive and maintain their Christian Character.
To experience more physical activities, the classes also take field trips. The list below is examples of current and past field trips which have been very beneficial for our students.
