The students in the Elementary grades have P.E. once a week. K-5 – 2 nd grade focuses on locomotor skills, perception skills, motor abilities, skills patterns, fitness awareness, building strength, flexibility, motor skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and some basic sports skills. Realizing that God did not make everyone an athlete, the students are graded by participation, effort, attitude, and responsibility.

Kindergarten and 1st grade students should wear regular school clothes to physical education classes. 2nd through 5th graders must purchase a T-shirt to wear during P.E.

All students must wear tennis shoes on

P.E. days. Wind suits may be worn.
