MCA does not have a hot lunch program. Students are to bring their own lunches to school. Please provide a balanced lunch, for it is essential to your child's best physical and mental health. We do provide the opportunity for students to purchase hot lunches, beginning with the second week of school.
In the past, our lunch providers were: Gray’s, Dairy Queen, and Subway. There will be one selection available per day; menu items will be rotated on a monthly basis. Lunch costs have changed, and prepaid lunch tickets are encouraged. The following payment options are available: 1) 20 lunches $70($3.50/lunch); 2) 10 lunches for $37.50($3.75/lunch); and
3) individual lunch at $4.25 each. We prefer to deal only with checks, and cash is discouraged. Lunches are to be ordered on the first day of the week. The providers are called and orders placed at 9:00 a.m. If you have more than one child you must make a separate check for each child.
For students in K-8th grade who do not have a lunch, they will be provided with a heat up and pudding at a cost of $4.25. No outstanding balance will exceed $12.00.
Milk or juice may be purchased on a semester/yearly basis. White milk, chocolate milk, or orange juice is available for lunch. A choice of how you can pay for student’s drink (milk or juice) has been established as follows:
Pay by the semester. $35.00
Pay by the year. $67.50
This fee is a flat rate and there is no credit given for the day(s) students do not attend school (or decide not to drink milk). The payment needs to be on a separate check for each student.
