This Thanksgiving season, the Room Parent Fellowship Team is organizing our first annual
Thanksgiving Service Project
We will be serving the Churches in Mission by helping to provide Thanksgiving meals for our Morgan County families who need them most. The Churches in Mission will be providing meals to more than 100 families during this time. MCA will be helping to feed these families in honor of what God has done for us. We are asking that each MCA family participate in some way with their student/students being involved the entire way. Needs INCLUDE…
Turkeys – uncooked and left frozen, 10 – 15 Pound Size Pumpkin pies – any kind 10 Pound Bag of Potatoes Dinner Rolls – any kind Canned Yams Boxed Stuffing Mix Canned Turkey Gravy
There is no limit to what we can provide for these families. If we receive 100 turkeys, ‘PRAISE GOD’. Simply provide what God places on your heart. Items will be taken to the Mission Tuesday, November 13 so that they will be in the hands of those who need them most prior to Thanksgiving Day.
Please have your items to school by 9 AM on Tuesday, November 13 and place them in the main school hallway between the eagle and the large photo display. If you are bringing a turkey and many are needed, you may place it in the MCA kitchen freezer anytime between now and 9 AM Tuesday the 13th. We also ask that you mark your item with your name and class. The class with the highest percentage of involvement will be having their own simple celebration. If you have any questions, feel free to contact your room parent or Becki Lord at 856-8781, 294-1115 or email beckslord@comcast.net. You may also call me to pick up your items.
2 Corinthians 9, ”13 Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 14And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift.”:
